Agentic sales are the orders an AI assistant either placed for the shopper or referred to your store, as Shopify's own sales analytics attribute them. They are the outcome everything else in Octolift works towards, so they sit on the Home page and on every product's analysis page.
The channels Shopify's sales data credits as agentic: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Shop. A channel with no sales in the period shows a dash in the breakdown.
Octolift uses Shopify's last non-direct click attribution, the same model Shopify's own reports use: an order counts for the assistant that facilitated the sale or referred the session. The result is an estimate. AI assistants often open your store without a referrer, so some AI-driven orders show up as direct traffic and the real total is likely higher.
The figures are read from Shopify's sales analytics through the reports permission, as aggregate totals only: Octolift never reads, stores or shows individual customers or orders. Totals are refreshed about once an hour. The currency is your store's currency. Visits are not shown, because AI assistants do not reliably report them.
A card that fails to load shows Try again; a chart with no sales in the window is left out rather than drawn flat.
